Titan Standard Safety Shield®360
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection monitors your speed and distance between you and the car ahead and can let you know if you need to slow down. It can also automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision or lessen the severity of an impact. And when it detects a pedestrian in the crosswalk, it can stop you in your tracks.
Rear Automatic Braking
Save your bumper. TITAN with standard Rear Automatic Braking watches out directly behind you for large stationary items you might not see. If it detects something and you fail to stop, it can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a rear collision or lessen the severity of an impact.
Blind Spot Warning
Wait. Was that a car over there? TITAN with standard Blind Spot Warning keeps an eye on the blind spot area and gives you a heads-up if it detects a vehicle hiding there.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Fear no parking lot. When you’re backing out of a space, our Rear Cross Traffic Alert watches around the rear of your TITAN and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.
Lane Departure Warning
Hold it right there. Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to. If the system detects that you’re drifting over, it’ll warn you.
High Beam Assist
High Beam Assist can automatically activate your high beams when you need them and deactivate them if an oncoming vehicle is detected. Which automatically makes you a more polite driver.
A SAFER, SMARTER WAY TO DRIVE
Road-gripping technology
When it detects oversteer or understeer, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) can reduce engine power and apply brake pressure to specific wheels. Traction Control System can sense wheel slip or spin and respond by instantly helping reduce throttle.
Brake smarter
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) rapidly pumps the brakes during hard braking to help prevent your wheels from locking. Brake Assist helps apply maximum braking force if it detects a hard braking situation. Electronic Brake force Distribution sends extra force to the rear brakes when you have additional weight in the vehicle.
Eight Standard air bags
Nissan’s Advanced Air Bag System has dual-stage driver and dual-stage passenger supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors. Offering coverage to help protect passengers in oblique collisions, our passenger dual-lobe air bags are designed to cradle the head and neck area and prevent excessive rotation during collisions.
